ZenGile provides a PI Planning Board for visualizing the team's needs and dependencies during PI planning sessions. Teams can place requirements and task cards on the planning board to help coordinate and distribute work.
After each team clarifies the goals and plans for the next PI phase, they can click [PI Planning Board] to associate product features, milestones, stories, etc. and connect cards with dependencies. It is convenient to identify dependencies between multiple teams.

1、Add milestones, features, story, cards

In the PI Planning Board, you can add Milestones, Features, Story, and General cards by clicking in the upper right corner of the PI Pllanning Board .
Milestones: can only be added in the Milestone swim lane, and Milestone cards are orange in color.
Characteristics: can be added and moved in the team's swim lanes, and the characteristic cards are blue.
Story: Can only be associated with the corresponding team lane, the Requirements card is white.
Card: No limit, card color is white.

2、Adding dependencies

When a requirement is dependent on another requirement, you can add a link to the Kanban board to record the dependency; the card at the beginning of the link is the dependent card, and the card's color will change to red.
When a card turns red, the team needs to consider whether the dependency needs to be reprioritized according to the planning board to ensure that the collaboration between the teams runs smoothly and the committed PI goals are achieved.

3、Creating lanes

If there are important to-do items for non-team members, you can add a new lane by clicking the Create Lane button in the upper right corner.

4、Set Kanban

Click Set Kanban to set the column width of the PI Kanban.

Click on the plus or minus sign on the left to control the card display of the Kanban board.
