ART (Agile Release Train) also consistently delivers value to customers according to a fixed time box called PI (Planning Interval). Typically a PI consists of 4 development iterations, 1 innovation and planning (IP) iteration.
1、Creating PI
1.1. You can create a PI for this ART directly on the [ART] page.
1.2. After selecting the ART to which it belongs, the system will automatically bring up information about the products and teams associated with the ART.
1.3. The system will automatically plan 5 iterations for you, and you can increase or decrease the number of iterations according to the actual situation of your team. Once the number of iterations and the start/end time are set, multiple teams will deliver value at a uniform pace.
2、Editorial PI
You can modify the information in the PI.
2.1. When a requirement for a product is associated with a PI, you need to remove the requirement before you can remove the product.
2.2. when a card is associated with the team in the PI, the card needs to be removed before the team can be removed.
2.3. When a planning iteration has been initiated in the PI, you need to remove the [Iteration] from the [Project] before you can remove the planned iteration.
3、Close PI
You can turn off a completed PI.
4、Delete PI
You can delete a PI that was created in error and later recover it in the Recycle Bin.
